Has anyone seen the chrome intake offered for the 2010 camaro. List is 450 and it looks like it uses original air box. They also have shorty headers. With it being gm performance that means no question of voiding warranty right
part # 92212302

If they are GM products, installed by a GM tech, the warranty is all good.

Only looks like a chromed version of the stocker minus a couple baffels/air chambers

If I'm not mistaken, chrome holds heat in. I'm sure there will be people that want it and get it but if it doesn't make the car go faster I'm not paying for it.

Not only is it ok by warranty standards, but the warranty on the part fits under the bumper-to-bumper. :)

I looked at the shorty headers that were shown on the Camaro and they were $1000!! And they were 400 series stainless, not 304 like ARH and Kooks. A lot of money for what I would think would be little gain.
