Road trip roll call...... Austin in may.

Thinking about just driving down. Plane ticks are looking like $400 a piece, that money would make a nice road trip, and I'd like to have the g8 there to meet up with some other enthusiasts.
Prob leave weds night and make a few stops along the way.

I'll be leaving from my friends place in MI on the sunday before(since i'll be there anyway and im not gonna drive back to toronto for just one day), should be in Austin by tuesday.

Go back through west Texas. See the Davis Mountains, then up to Palo Duro Canyon.

^^^I looked today since I need an extra for my brother in law there was a few options, stub hub has them a bit cheaper than the site but still more than the opening price. I know someone is selling GA tickets on here.

Turn one tix on stubhub were starting at 158. and on the COTA site they were 198 and up plus 10 for handling. stub hub also had box seat options that were like 500+ a pop. You might get better results calling them cause I saw a lot more options through stub hub than were listed on COTA. I am trying to get an extra for the wife's brother to sit with us in turn 1 but can only find way different sections than the four we have.

I called them today as there system was having issues with my International Credit card. I saved $40 calling direct.

he recomended high up in turn one, you can see the most, but are firther from the track. I took mid way up in turn one. Parking lot P.

I'll be in Detroit saturday during the day, then up to Sanford to party for then night. after which I'll be driving down.. if we can work something out, I'd love to mini convoy down...
