Liking the HRT ..needing this for a wallpaper on my desk top. .. Wonder what the lion head would look like if they kept it black and gold on the hood instead of white. seems to blend a little too much. I still like it.
Need to get used to the rear spoiler.. reminds me of the Fords.

Agreed. I started looking from the front to the back and as soon as I saw that new spoiler a chill went up my spine and I cringed. That is the worst style spoiler I've ever seen and I agree, it reminds me of the Fords. :puke:

That's not the reason.
The category is run to a Parity formula, as such the Frods, Holdens, Nissans, AMG's are all engineered to the same weights,power output,front and rear downforce.
The factory VF bodyshape has a 10% less drag coefficient than the VE so the rear wing change is probably to handicap the VF back to the aero performance of the Frod.
The Holdens have been using the same front suspension geometry as the Frods for many years. There was much bickering about unfair advantages back and forward, and the Series governing body stepped in and declared that everybody would run the Frod system.

OK I was wrong.
Apparently the end mount spoiler on VF is better than the previous centre mount.

Hopefully overall the VF has less drag than the VE and top speeds can match or beat those of the VZ days. Top speeds are still gearing and rev limiter dependant but with less drag they can get there sooner and hold them on the limiter longer.

Notice he's got extra sectioning in the upper side/roof.....there's additional joins above the B and C pillar.
Maybe also another vertical join in the rear fascia below the tail lamps.
(He's expecting some panel damage and ready to change them fast).

.. You're right Paul ..liking the lines on the white VF. Without all the sponsors adds you can see the body lines.
Then again I like my heron white G8 so now I can see what the SS looks like in White.
