Hey guys and gals, just got the stripes put on and they turned out pretty good IMO. Here are some pics...................

There's a girl over at LS1Tech.com that has a "murdered" Trans Am (satin black), she sprayed her tails with aclear with a touch of flat black added. They came out nice.

I like it, better then having the stripes in front of the vents. It gives them some where to start from. Good job.

I took the car to a place that specializes in vinyl graphics for vehicles.
They do window tinting but also alot of whole car advertising signs in vinyl graphics. Paid $200

They look like the standard Holden accessory track stripes.

Penguin (or anyone) if you're looking for wheels from Oz, I'll point you in the right direction and explain all the traps for the unwary.

Silver/Gray always looks good on black. Or you could do an old school Camaro look and do red racing stripes (joking)....

If I had a black G8..........I would seriously do this: My own version of the " Year One Burt Reynolds Bandit Edition G8 " Here is a photo shopped picture with the wheels added posted by another member here. I would put gold stripes on it and mash the gas pedal with no remorse! Take that SLP

These are called silver but they look more like white to me.

You probably would have to add the nose piece too.

I would like a hood without the scoops if anyone in aftermarket is listening... with mabe a few louvers rear facing on either side for heat extraction..

Yeah you need a new front bumper - that hood is a good few inches 'shorter' because we have some extra 'bar' behind the bumper (so you'd have to remove that as well).

You could always have stripes painted on in a flat or matte clearcoat. They look good especially on black vehicles. Everything seems normal looking at it straight on, but when viewd from an angle they stand out

Those look nice with the "silver" and "grey." while it looks good, but I still don't think it looks as good as the red with the black stripes. That just looks beautiful.
