I ran into this link on the "Other Board" http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79686

I know I have an LS3 manifold because the pictures and discription of the LS3manifold match up to the manifold on my engine. What manifold is the so called L76 manifold in that picture? I'm pretty posative there 08's and 09's both have a LS3 manifold.

Correct. The L76 is on the Aussie cars. L76 does not have a silencer/hush cover and the LS3 has a bolt in MAP sensor and a cover. This is the Intake Cover Removal mod.

No. The trucks have a different intake. The L76 is designated to the L98 non-DOD Aussie version in the Commodore and overseas versions.

So that's an Aussie L76 intake...? I guess I wasn't putting that together.

Trucks have l92 intake don't they? Or atleast they're called l92 truck intakes on performancetrucks.

Some of the Australian Commodore VZ models had the L76 6.0 engine in 2006.This was the first useage of the car style low profile intake to suit the rectangular intake port L92 heads. Hence the intake became known as the L76 intake.

The L76 intake also got used on the L98 6.0 engine in the VE Commodores from mid 2006. L98 engine is the L76 engine with no DOD hardware fitted.

The Pontiac G8-GT was the first useage of the LS3 intake manifold on a 6.0 engine.
