So after assembling parts over Christmas and buying TSW wheels this week I started my brake job at 4 a.m. I got the front rotors and calipers off and I went to install the CTS-V calipers only to realize the existing bolts won't thread into the caliper (I know it's not recommended to reuse). I didn't panic, I figured I live in Houston, I'll go to autoparts store and if they don't have the bolts I'll go to the dealership.
O'Reilly's didn't seem to have the bolts so I went to the Cadillac dealership at 8:00 a.m. The proceeded to tell me the only place that had THE bolt was a GMC dealership down the road and there was only 1 in Houston according to his computer. He also told me the rear caliper bolts are two different sizes and have a different part number than the front. I have scoured the boards and had not run into anyone saying this to be true. Ugh!
Q1: Are the front and rear Brembo's the same size bolt? If I order online I only want to do it once.
Q2: Does anyone know the bolt's specifications? I believe it's supposed to be an M12x1.75x55?
Q3: Any other ideas to find these bolts in Houston?
Best bet would be to contact Greg@Pace (http://forum.grrrr8.net/member.php?u=92)

I just went through a similar project last weekend and the CTS-V caliper bolts are rare and hard to find sitting on a shelf at a dealer or part store, I ended up getting my front caliper bolts thru a Cadillac dealer speacial order and pace performance back order item no one in CA has these on the shelf and it took me 2 weeks and change to get all the bolts rounded up.
Front CTS-V caliper bolt part # 18041878 ( 4 required )
It looks like you need a 12x1.75x40mm bolt to mount the rear Brembo calipers directly to the knuckle. Part #11515778 would do that and looks to be the proper size. But if your using a rear bracket adaptor it should have came with caliper bolts
Hopfully this is of some help, Good luck with the install here is how mine came out

Thanks for the info. After a "Vision Quest" today I found the bolts for the front.
Yours looks good. Mine is VERY similar/identical. I've got the DBA HSV T3 rotors for the rear as well. I'm planning to install these tomorrow.

You know, you're supposed to quote people when you simply copy/paste what they say, oh I don't know, a year ago.
