guys,
I drilled my factory one to get it to run at consistent 175-180.....
well the dam thing runs too cold now.
130s-140s on a 45* day.
I can PayPal, but need it pretty quick, getting tuned Tuesday.
I think 1 small hole will do what I want, not 4. .... lol.

How big were the holes you drilled?

I still have my factory thermo in my garage if you want it. Could next day it to you.

Grrrr8... holes were smaller than pencil erasers...
with these motors, I think? they need to run a little hotter.... around 175-185 for max efficiency.......
I just wanted to just keep it around that......I don't like seeing 195* in the 30-40* weather...in summer that would be hotter.
??????????? I did such a nice neat job too, can't believe those little holes did so much. LOL
another thing, I had to force the stat, and housing in about the last
1/8 inch...and tighten... is that right?
