The top of the blade moves in.
The 6-pin late model connector works with 2009.5 g8 GT & GXP, 2010 and newer Camaro (E-Body), 2005 and newer Corvette (Y-Body), and Chevy/GMC pickups 2007 and later with the 6-pin witing harness. Tuning is required.
What's the price on these again?
Advertised price is $579.95 but I might be able to do a little better on these.

There is only one type from what I've seen.
Scoggin Dickey is still the sole distributor and they only sell one DBW version SD102MMEL. I have seen mention of the "boost" version on another site and I've also seen post that those did not work either and were still shutting under big boost.

Are you adding one of these to yours Greg?

I have thought about it, but I want to get a few other things first like cogs, some CNC heads, and injectors.
I'm only pushing about 7psi now and my injectors are at about the limit.

I was under the impression that they did a stronger actuator (i think that is the right word) on a version for boosted cars

hmm no good for aussie VE Commodores we need the bottom to move in otherwise its a surge monster and throws/displays codes - bummer

Ummm pre 2010 VE V8 will be different to post 2010
Silver throttle butterfly, no A/C belt idler pulley, and waterpump discharge on right side of the car = TB blade tips one direction = pre MY2010 VE
Gold throttle butterfly, A/C belt idler pulley, and waterpump discharge on left side of the car = TB blade tips other direction = post MY2010 VE

N.B. Different length upper radiator hose and A/C belt both required for MY2010+ V8 due to config changes made.

Hmmm, so will the NW 102mm TB work on a 2008 G8 GT with an LS3 too or does it require something extra? So far all I've learned that "you will need the harness adapter if you have a 1997-2004 vehicle that is factory-equipped with an electronic throttle body. If you are using this throttle body on a 2005+ Corvette, you will not need the harness adapter.
Greg and CP, you both shed light on the difference between the 2008/2009 stock TB and 2009.5 stock TB when it comes to the wiring harness and ECM programming, and that they cannot be swapped. Does this issue complicate using the NW 102mm TB on 2008/2009 GT's?

From what I have been reading is the NW102 can be used in place of the older silver blade Throttle bodies and also the newer gold blade throttle bodies.
