Splitter installed

After a little trimming here and there and a bit of massaging we have managed to install the splitter provided by Jeff@Bohnman's Electronics. As you know the G8 is a lot pointier than the VE Commodore so we had to reshape the whole deal - come up a treat we think -

Is this for looks or is there an advantage to it? Other than scraping driveways :)

Speaking as someone who damaged the lower lip on my GXP within a week, I can tell you that this, while making scraping very slightly more likely, it does offer protection for your lower bumper. Beyond that, it's just appearance, I doubt thier would be any serious high speed advantage.
Is this for looks or is there an advantage to it? Other than scraping driveways :)

Iv had mine on for a year almost and that's the mod that gets the most compliments not to mention a bumper lip scrape detector I call it. If rather rub that then my bumper itself

Yer thanks guys I reckon it looks the part for "cosmetic"purposes. BUT having said that I have noticed the car seems quieter criusing along - don't know why ??
