for a total gain of maybe 3 hp, and almost 1,300 bucks?? they can keep it. stock pipes flow almost as good as any aftermarket unit.

They make nice stuff, but for the power gain vs cost, get headers!

^hilarious.

I got that email today too

Borla makes great stuff, I had a cat back on my camaro and loved every inch of it. Looking at the pictures of the system really make me want to justify that 1300, but i just cant. i heard theres a group buy going on somewhere for like 1100, but thats still tough to handle. its a decent amount of nice piping and I would bet that it sounds much better than any other exhaust, but wow. $$$$$

Thanks bubblyjock you just save like $150, Summit price matched and saved me a buck.

Way to go Summit!! Ruining the economy even more by playing the role of Wal-Mart in car parts

I would think its more like getting it closer to a fair price. Obviously if Summit can sell it for that so can others. It all depends on buying power and how greedy a vendor is. LMP is selling for 1 dollar more then Summit.

Not really. Summit relies on its sheer size and bulk to sustain itself when it does lose money on certain lines. As an example look at MSD; they sell MSD for less than the price most dealers have to pay for it, vs sticking with an agreed upon pricing plan. Selling things for very little profit does nothing but run small businesses under. But I'll drop it before this gets side tracked. My bad
