LT or ST headers.

I've done my research but really want to hear some information from some of the pro's on the differences between long-tube and short-tube headers besides price...I'm a diesel guy, we're old school with manifolds...:puke:

STs are a waste of time. LTs for the power. 1 7/8 if you plan on a cam or power adder.

I read in the GMHTP article on the '10 options list and add ons. Said GMPP was going to offer ST headers..........i chuckled and turned the page. Go LTs for sure.

I got a hell of a deal on my Kooks from Maryland speed! I love the Kooks and would have done ARH but they where a few hundred more... (i was up in the air about what was better so I figured I would leave it up to price)

Shorties will give only 5whp...thats it. The thing is that the Cats are the choking point, 90degree bend.

My question is, what if go with ST and magnaflow highflow cats (when it comes out)? Still go LT over ST?

I wounder what the gains would be w/ST and Highflow cats?:confused:
