Thanks! In a couple weeks the cam kit, Kooks 1 7/8" long tubes, catted x-pipe, valve job, and many other procedures I don't fully understand yet will be done to the red beast. I will post pics, video, and dyno chart as soon as it all happens. Wish me luck as I'm scared shitless about kissing my warranty bye bye but I can't turn back now.

Very nice Nate. Its going to be a 'twin' challenge now. My Gts wheels are on the boat waiting to leave. The car is in the shop now getting SW Lt's, x-pipe, and catback. Its then getting a Vector Stage 2 setup and 3200 stall in February.

Can't wait to hear some numbers. Do you plan on taking it to the track?

I will be there in May :) I think all you need is to go on a test and tune night and go by yourself so there is no one to impress! 4 or 5 runs and you will be lauching like a pro! Dont worry about reaction times they really have no affect on times (time starts when you cross the line)

Everybody is getting a cam now. I think this just make my decision stronger to stay N/A......until I completely rebuild the motor when the car is paid off.

N/A or forced induction. I'm thinking of possibly getting a Hot Cam for now and getting a supercharger later. Every since I had the 04 Cobra I've been in love with superchargers. That torque curve is addicting.

Thanks I went to cars and coffe yesterday...........I was the only G8 representing....I felt left out with all the different clubs there. We definitely need to start up a local group. Let me know if you plan on going next Saturday. I will probably go again.

Thats funny...I went yesterday around 1030-1045 time frame and I didn't see any other G8's either so I just drove through and left. I cant go this next Saturday because I'm working security for the South Point race team for NASCAR weekend. I'm game for going the following week. Maybe by then we can get a few more people to show up.
