I searched and looked on multiple forums but couldn't find anything about taking the lenses off our taillights. I'm planning on buying new headlights and taillights to color match the black to my orange.

Is anyone good at photoshop to see what my taillights would look like color matched. I've eyeballed it pretty extensively and figure it would make the chrome ring look like its "floating".

Has anyone taken the tails apart? How involved are they? Do they seal similar to the headlights? Does one have to "bake" them like the headlights http://Forum.grrrr8.net/showthread.php?t=11885?

Google "tails by flip" and e-mail Todd about it. He can tell you all about it. He's had a pair of my tails for over 4 months now and I'm supposedly supposed to get them back very soon now. He took the lenses off the tails and painted the chrome ring black. He ended up breaking one tail and had to get another one from ebay. He said it's a MAJOR PITA to take the lenses off the tails and he'd never do them again for anyone........

Pretty darn close, I just need to figure out how to take the clear lens off to paint the black part of the housing. I'm going color match headlights and tails. I'd like to do it cleanly.
