Does the early 09 water pump change require a different belt other than the factory GXP [09.5]? I have not looked it up yet.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no....it depends how the weights work out.
If you PM me the items you're considering with Qty beside each I can price it out.
No the waterpump change does not affect the main belt.
With stock GM crank balancer in place the main belt is the same 2007-2012.
Stock A/C belt changed MY2010+ with the introduction of an idler on the new A/C bracket.

I will check. My car had all tensioners/belts replaced earlier this year under warranty.
