So I photoshopped a BMW with 2 sets of rims Im looking at right now. Pic came from tirerack, and I picked the BMW because its the most similar in shape to the G8. I had to get it as close to MGM as I could because the car was originally red. My work monitor is like half as bright as it should be so this might not even look good on a normal monitor lol. Anyways, I picked these 5 spokes and then these 16 spokes. Completely different looks and I cant figure out which one I like better. What do you guys think? Im sticking with the stock 18" size because I have the original tires still and I dont feel like spending the extra cash for the rims and tires when it comes time to replace them. So 18x8 all around and these are both +40 backspacing.

So what do you guys think? Top or bottom?
**EDITED** Added the Stern ST1's to the list at the very top ;)

Number 2 is my first choice as well, but some of my buddies are thinking #1. I like both, but I think #1 just looks better somehow. They are ASA AR1's BTW ;)

Depends on the look you want.

#1 is sporty
#2 is classy

If I went the classy route, I love the Tsw Snettertons.

Stay away from the Breyton Race CS...sweet wheel but the offset is too large (+35 on a 9.5" wheel) and causes rear tire rub. Be weary of your offsets and rim widths, if you got any questions hit me up... I know one of the guys at the South Bend, IN location personally if you want to chat with him, his name is Issac Schlut.

Well I managed to find these while browsing around and I kinda like 'em. I found a set on ebay, 18x8.5 35mm offset. Will these work ok with the stock 245/45s? And will I be ok in the front or do you think these would rub anywhere? I'll admit I know very little about wheel sizing and what will fit and not fit our cars. But man do these looks sweet on this Acura!

That should work as long as you stick with a 245 on the width. Even if you do have a slight rub you can always get the fenders rolled. The fronts should be fine, its the rears that worry me.

I double checked the sizes with tireracks site, I compared your numbers with the Breyton's I had and you should be fine!

I just photoshopped the same car as close to MGM as I could. Thanks for the response Panther. If I need to drop down to 235's to prevent rub, so be it. Its not like a try to holeshot every stop light and stop sign. Well, not every time at least :P

With them being an 8.5" wheel the +35mm offset will be fine...What me in trouble was have my rears being 9.5" wide with that same offset...if they were a +38mm I probably would have been fine with the Breytons because the rub was super super slight, but it still shouldn't be there ya know?
