Somebody showed me their timeslip today of a 12.05 @ 117.85 1.92 60ft. Cordova Dragway Park
222/226 114+2 cam
stock converter
3.45 gears
ported heads and TB, modified intake 4" MAF
street tires...
DA +549'
Sounds like the fastest Naturally Aspirated G8 time while still running a stock converter.........

I went a 12.35 with a 2.0 with a full yank of gas, car seats, and 110 lbs of dubs in the track at positive da with my last car so i would say low 12s high elevens on stock stall isn't hard. I had the 1c cam 3.45 gears and Land Speed stage 2 heads

That is an outstanding time on a stock converter NA. Street tires too.
I'm going to be shooting for real low 12's come November when DA's get to 0-200ft.
I have a very similar setup as far as cam profile. Mine is a low lift DOD cam though, no-name heads and 3.27 gears.

If I get this car in the 10s I'll be going back to stock converter and small cam town MPG sucks with a 3800-4000 stall lol

I can't thank Rick enough for what he's done for me. Tuning, intake, TB work, heads.... This car is nasty for what has gone into it. I think I'm getting the most out of all my mods now. IF I had my DR's on I think I would have gotten into the 11's. I had major wheel hop as well as spin. Thanks Rick! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GUY G8-4-SPEED!

Insane times Brent!! Congrats. Now Rick has me thinking of swapping cams, or at a bare minimum doing the 90 mm MAF.

Here is the Spectre LS7 4" MAF tube part number for $30 -9705
LS7 MAF Sensor card numbers-LS3/7 MAF card @$50-70
AC Delco # 213-4222
GM# 15865791
Supercedes 213-3134 and GM# 12576410
Boosted the intake will do even better....It just multiplies the gains...Intake and TB are $300 as a pair.
***This 4" and card will need a tune to run***** The MAF airflow table needs recalibrated for the larger tube.

The intake lobe and centerline are good on your cam but your exhaust opens way too soon and bleeds off too much torque which is hurting your et.

Pretty impressive, the 60' is keeping you from 11's and the whole package makes this car work like crazy.

Thanks Rick. Going to get this on the way next week and Pat G can modify my MAF tables.
Also, when you can please reply to my email with exact cam specs you'd suggest and where to buy from.

Sounds pretty sneaky to me, I like it! It doesn't take much stall to make a big difference. 500 extra rpm really helps get rid of that lazy feeling off the line.
Dave, let me get going on these intakes today and I'll try to get you an e-mail tonight on the cam.

A friend of mine with a cammed maggie 2010 camaro SS had his restalled by this guy and goes 1.5x short times granted he makes stupid torque of the line

I believe it. Dougs is an animal is second anywhere on the street. I bet he would cut a easy low 1.60 with the stock stall and gears. For street use it doesn't take much stall to make it come alive. 2200-2600 is plenty!

Wow, you picked up 25 MPH in the back half. Heads and intake are breathing well.
Can't wait to run mine on 10/19. Hope for a cool night here in AZ.
