A Nissan Altima must be quite different in Oz than here. I can't imagine the U.S. version becoming the basis for a racecar (unless we're talking NASCAR sticker stuff, which I know V8SC is not).

I don't think the AU version would be that different to the USA version.
The only new issue probably would be that they've put a V8 into a Datsun that can't be bought with a V8.
The lines are blurry, people think V8SC resemble road cars more than they actually do. They have door hinges, real grilles, real badges, and working lights.......but nothing else in common with a road car.

That is much better than the current NASCAR version of street cars. Maybe next year will look better.

Plus aren't Altimas FWD? The Commodores and Falcons resemble road cars moreso because they're at least layed out the same (V8, RWD, 4dr sedan). Taking a FWD econobox and changing everything about it except the stickers on the back is a page straight out of the NASCAR playbook ;)

My friend works at a BMW timers, says they sound killer....well yeah...any insanley expensive engine sounds killer.

I watched a video the other day of a 3.0L Renault v10 revving to 20k and it was beautiful

Sent from my mind using opposable thumbs.

It sucks the Jack car is going to be a Nissan. My screen saver is usually a Kelly Racing because they just look good and are Holden.
