Until I bought my G8 I never knew that Australia had such cool cars. Since my wife still has her Australian citizenship (born in Sydney) maybe we should move there and experience the great cars first-hand.

Yeah those look to be just like our V6 tail lights. Check with some of the V6 guys...they are willing to trade for GT tail lights.

Those colours all look way different depending on the light. My camera did not seem to capture exactly what I was seeing.

I think you'll find you're looking at the front and back of the same car.....check the licence plate.
Looks different because of different sun position.

The G8 V6 tails aren't that transparent, they have a solid red non-transparent lens like most cars on the road. Those Holden tails look like a lightly red tinted version of our clear GT tails.

The white Anniversary GTS they had was auto.....so that one went off my want list.
The W427 had about 1000km on it, so it was a demo model.
(It was interesting to note the W427 had an OTR and a radiator tilt done, but they hadn't figurred out how to install a radiator cover on it.) [The oil tank for the dry sump goes where the front of the airbox normally would, right in the front corner]

The white ones have the most "road presence" by a long way.
When you see a black one on the highway, 1/2 the time you cannot distinguish which model HSV it is (from the front anyway).

I was with you on this, untill I saw the black one posted. I have to say I have NEVER wanted a white car, but with the frt end of the HVS 427 and rear wing of the GTS, tail lights and Stripe package I could die very happy with the white car.
