6th Annual KC Mustang/Fbody Meet

Where: Bates City BBQ Shawnee Location.
6493 Quivira Road
Shawnee, KS 66216
It is just south of shawnee mission parkway on quivera, east side of the road

We always have a good showing with this meet. Parking should not be an issue here as there is also a pretty large parking lot there. There is the also a Classic Mustang club cruise night that night and there are always a nice group of cars there too. Just try to keep trash cleaned up don't do anything stupid up at Bates City. We had a blast last year and a great turn out. Last year we hit the 200 car mark. We will head out around 11:30-midnite for the "cruise". Just be ready to have a good time and keep the attitudes in check.

Few GTOs and G8s meeting up at Nebraska Furtinure in KC by Legends shopping mall at 7 and then cruise to the meet.

it was a fun turn out and got to meet 5 G8 including a white A6 GXP. I think the G8 did a good job representing considering most of the cars there was north of 500 RWHP. Link to photos i got. Please share what u guys got of the "event"

That was mine with the dirty engine bay.
I had a drive to and from Kentucky from Kansas, and just returned from Houston the night before; didnt have time to clean it fully. It was either wash her and change oil or wash and fully detail. I chose the best option. Haha

Besides, the cleanliness of the engine by doesn't affect the performance. This isnt highschool.

Here's a vid from a guy Phillip and I raced a few times. He had a 350Z with intake, exhaust and tune...was a good sport...had a chance to talk with him at the meeting spot.

1st G8 race - my car from a dig, he got the drop
2nd G8 race - Phillip's car from about a 50 roll
3rd G8 race - Phillip's car...don't know what happened...I thought you were going to go from a dig, and then someone honked it off
4th G8 race - my car from a 70 roll (i know...but whatever...he said something about his 3rd gear synchros needed blah blah blah) let out about 130
5th G8 race - my car from a 50 roll...let out about 110
6th G8 race - Phillip's car from about a 50 roll

He likes to jump on the honk except for the last one where he yelled the count.
