Just back from Mooresville Dragway

Stock I was at 9.25 @ 76 with a bad da.

Just ran today, 55 degrees, maybe 500ft after intake, tune, hsrk, and exhaust

8.69 @ 83, crushed a cammed, lt header, ls1 ss 3 times in a row. Videos will be posted to prove it.

Had to launch it in sport mode with the traction control on. That cold weather made for some tough launches and kept breaking loose from 1st to 2nd. Without the TC I had a really hard time getting off the line with much speed.

I would expect a tenth better with a bit warmer track although I did manage to put down almost a 2.0 flat 60 ft time. I feel like I lost a bit going from 1st to 2nd.

Good runs. I'm a little surprised at the LS1 whipping. I wonder if they need the driver mod? Was traction an issue at the track for everyone?

Either way, faster cars don't always win and good job!

^^^its the first time ive been to that particular track. Right now its open every Thursday and Saturday.

^Talking with the guy between runs he said he is at that track fairly often but not completely famililar with that car yet. Best he had managed all day was an 8.6. Always had him off the line, he would start to reel me in slowly about half way down. He was claiming 390 rwhp.

Mooresville is about an hr for me, Wilkesborro is about the same.

I'm in Jamestown right beside Greensboro.

The two tracks near me are Farmington and Piedmont dragway.
