Where to get a NC inspection around Cary, that will pass tint?

I got tint when I bought my car when I lived in NY. As some of you know it's pretty dark, does anyone know where I can bring it in the Raleigh/Cary/Apex area? Don't want to remove it and I've seen plenty of cars with limo tint and no issues. So where does everyone go?

I'm curious about this too. I have to get mine inspection done next week and I'm not sure where to go. If nobody says anything before I go out, I'll let you know how my situation goes.

Failed it, any luck Jdiz? I went to the one suggested in other thread. He didn't say anything until after everything was done, when I told him I had dark tint. So I got fucking charged $34 for no reason. He said I can remove front tint come back and pay $6 and pass, then I would have to get new tint put on. Bullshit.

Went to a place in Clayton that I had do a car of mine a few years ago. The people were pretty cool. He told me upfront that it wasn't going to pass due to the tint. Pulled my tint off last night :(

Anyone know of any good tint shops around Raleigh? I don't mind spending decent money to make sure it's done well. The last owner definitely took it somewhere good. They got the tint into corners that I had trouble seeing! Also, I only use 3/M tint. Anybody have any good luck anywhere?

Thats sucks. I might have to pull mine off. First I need to go see if I qualify for medical exemption, which I'm pretty sure I do.

Hendrick works with some folks with shops in Cary and Raleigh, and Tinted Image in Garner does real good work (did my car for it's original owner and my son's Suby).

LOL Rick, a little late on that, I removed the tint and sold the car. That's good to know for the new one....
