spyder auto tail lights

hey was wondering if anyone has ordered lights from spyder auto. i was wanting to order a pair of led rears. but wasnt sure how credible this company is. and if they fit same as factory lights. any help will b appreciated.

I like mine, especially tinted, and they were a plug and play.

It may take you a little while to get them. Apparently the tails are incredibly "fragile" and I had to re-order the Spyder tails from elsewhere as the company I originally ordered from was on back-order or the tails they had were busted.

the seller im looking at is called "bling4cars" on amazon. the tinted ones say 1-4 months for shipment :boxing: but the regular led ones are in stock. thanks fr the info.

Keep looking around if you like I can PM you where I got mine from as they took about a week to arrive from ordering and that was last week. They look awesome and are fairly easy to install.

They are not the best quality by far. I had Spyder Headlights with Halos on my GTO. Things were very low quality. I got them because my driver headlight was smashed, and that alone was $500, and the Spyder for a pair was $250. Extremely hard to put HID's into. The wiring has something very goofy with them. When replacing high beam bulbs I had bulbs get stuck in the housing, and back latch that holds them in fall out. Real PITA. (I did use H1 bulbs which they do take). They also would not line up right at all with my bumper. No matter what they would stick out or leave a gap. Unsure if it was my car or the headlamps. Knowing what I know now I would have never gotten them.

That being said, these were for a different car, and headlamps. Tail lamps are much easier, and from what I've read most people have had good luck with the LED Tail Lamps they make. Only the headlights are goofy,

Sonar and Spyder are interchangeable. My box said Spyder, the tails have Sonar stamped on them.

Search the forum, I have a video posted of my test of the LED tails on my PBM GT. (Black LED tails).

i think on the mgm the smoke chrome would look sweet. thats just me though. good luck on your decision.

Chrome or Black will look good on just about any G8 IMO. I don't like red lights on the G8 but I know many other do as well.
