Anybody remember 13 QTR? Looking through the forum it seems I've bought his old car. Aside from his CAI and apparently his 3.27 gears (the latter of which were erroneously advertised as still being on the car), what else has been stripped off of it? I think the trailing arms are gone also, as are any aftermarket rims, but that engine is intact.

What's up? The Cai and aftermarket rims....I sold to a local. THe 3.27's were swapped out too..before I got rid of it. The trailing arms were still on it...I still got the old factory ones here. They should be bright reds ones...can't miss them if you look under the car. I hope like hell....you use premium gas...it don't like cheap...

No, we never put anything but premium gas in that car. I actually don't drive it much; I bought it as a gift for my future wife and she absolutely loves it. We already put in a Roto-Fab and changed the exhaust (WAY too loud for a commute) with Kooks long tubes, Corsa mid with cats, and Magnaflow axle-back. That catless shorty setup was insane. Also replaced the throttle body which was apparently affecting the tune negatively.

Are only the pistons forged and not the crank? I'd like to get a Procharger in the future, but I'm not sure how much boost it can take! Engine is a beast regardless, and she can keep pace with my GTO!

spoohn......had the poly bushings...

you must have a bad ass gto...cause when I had it...it ran 11.9's The throttle body was a ported one....no issues with tune when I had it. The intake manifold was custom ported by AFR.
What did you do with the old exhaust setup? My friend may be interested... Right before I got rid of it and put the stock rearend back in....all I did was change the speedo calibration....it may not be right for the stock gears now.....also.....it was street tuned with a varaam intake......

I wouldn't worry about the stock crank.....pretty sure it'd take alot more than a 'charger to break it....

I'm in Illinois (don't ask me how it wound up here...no idea). I worded that last bit poorly. I had the pipes cut above the muffler (which apparently muffles nothing) in order to fit it in an Escape. And yes, if you want it, I'd love to sell it back to you.

it didn't have mufflers...just the 2 magnaflow resonators....

Aaaaaaaaaanyhow, give me a fair offer and I'd be more than happy to wrap it up and ship it to you. And yes, it's cut above the resonators, so easy weld job for one with the torch and the talent. How mic psi boost do you think that engine can safely take?

As for our Wyoming thread crasher, I'll be sure to let you know when I want to get blown for cheap. (:-P

No idea on the psi...... maybe Miss Jess could chime in. I see those ls3/maggie packages on east texas speeds site...they claim 800hp. There engines have no better parts than the one you have......
