So, we had a little open road and this guy in a new silver stype thought he was in a fast car, I felt compelled to show him some American/Aussie Power!

All 3 times we started from around 60, it was an even pull until I hit 4th, then I walked him something terrible. I don't know if he's a pus or what, but all 3 times I steady gained while in forth gear.

Always good to get the blood pumping after a nice breakfast.

Just thought I'd share :)

wow, i was wondering if i'd even see one of these on the road, there's like a huge waiting list to get one and they're almost $100k cars.

AWESOME KILL, 4th gear seems to be our savior gear for the lightly modded guys. if you can take your races into 4th gear you will have more successful runs.

Dunno about waiting lists but those cars start at like 55K...

Not sure where you are getting your numbers from.

i went into a vw/audi dealer right before they came out and that's what the salesman said, didn't bother ever looking them up but i'm pretty sure a few were sold for 80ish.

I think you are thinking of the Audi S8. Those things run about 100K. But they're also a freakin V10. I know a guy whos got one and they are crazy fast.

Your salesman was on crack. The S5 starts at $51K.

This is why cars should have names.

Didn't think i could even option one out to 100k.

Pretty sure an s8 will own a g8 stock.

I would not have expected that with just 2 basic mods, a G8 GT could walk a S5. I love those cars. Great kill.

Edmonds Inside-Line rates the 2008 Audi S5 at 4.9 0-60, 13.3 at 104.6 in the quarter and about $62,000 price tag (estimated-price as tested). The car's rated at 349 hp and 325 ft-lbs and is AWD. Nice car... u should have had a handful with this one!
