I purchased a Pro Clip mount for my G8. It says it's for a 2008-2010 G8. The instructions show a 2008-2009 G8 with Atari gauges and the rear of the clip clips in between the shelf and the Atari gauges. When I went to fit mine tonight I noticed I have at least 1/2" of gap from the back of the Pro Clip mount to where it's supposed to clip in the rear. Has anyone else noticed this?
I can take a pic of what my 2009.5 shelf looks like, but it doesn't look like this!

Mine has a rubber flat surface that appears much deeper than this pic.
I can take a pic of what my 2009.5 shelf looks like, but it doesn't look like this!
