View Full Version : Any helpful tips on radiator fan removal?

My drivers side 7 blade fan is cracked and i need to replace it tomo. Any tips you guys can give me on how to handle this?

Seriously now.
Here's a tip: The central nut holding the fan blade to the fan motor shaft....it's left hand thread. So to undo the central nut, pretend you're trying to tighten it.

Removing stuff to get access:

Removing blade from motor shaft:

Removing motor from mounts (in case you want to take the motor and fan together so you can remove and replace the blade in comfort).
