Russo has 2 versions for the VE.
The one you mentioned does not appear to run a MAF, so you'd need a Mafless/SD tune with that.

They have a new one which incorporates the MAF.
Not so out of the ordinary (in USA) to tune.

Just remember they were designed for the VE Commodore which has a different hood to the G8-GT.
So just check clearances would be OK around hood front / nostril type area.

It appears that Russo will ship internationally so send them an e-mail.

That is a nice looking intake, but how much water is the thing going to suck up? I would think a lot.

Wait for the Vararam unless you don't like them or something. I think it will provide you with great performance and you'll KNOW it will fit.

That is the one I was thinking about. From the pics I have seen it looks like the Vararam is similar except for the filter being in the upper portion of the intake. I know it rains every now and then in Oz, so I wonder how it is working down there?

Hi Guys, nice intake lol . We developed this OTR back in 2006 and have sold plenty of them all around the world and have had no water issues. We have now released the Maf version which works a treat..

HI

I have INTAKE FOR RUSSO Company ..
And whenever I have 2 FOR V6 and also V8
And experienced some problems after the installation and appearance are not opposed in mind
AFTER INTSALLING THE INTAKE, WHEN TESTING THE CAR AT FULL THROTTLE IT GOES TO REDUCE ENGING MODE AND GIVES ME THROTTLE ACTUATOR CODES 1516 AND 2101, EVEN AFTER DISABLE THE CODES THE CAR DO THE SAME
What are the possible solutions to this problem??

I think you should contact Chris@Russo (the guy who posted in Post #7 above) and work thru your problems with him. Or contact whoever you bought the product from.
