My stupid transmission wont shift 1-2 and 1-3 gear.:notworking:

sprayed around 25 mph but wouldnt shift into second so i got out of the nitrous damn trans still doesnt want to cooperate

Probably not commanding the shift mph soon enough on the spray. Let me know if you need any help on the engine or trans tuning.

You should at least let patrick help you with the tranny tune. I had issues with mine and he made it night and day!

5000 rpm and 27mphThat's too high of mph with that much power. Keep lowering it. Most of the stock displacement NA G8s with 3.45 gears are commanding 24 mph to get them to shift at 6800 rpm. With cubes and nitrous, you will most likely need to command the shift at a lower rpm, even if you're running less gear. Drop the shift mph and see what happens. Also make sure you check your trans fluid with the temps between 30-50c and add a half quart to the pan over the full level. This will help with shifts at high g loads.

Man, you are loosing some mph and et the tranny shift issues. Good luck, 6.80's are on the way once you get that done.

Need to setup Sport as your nitrous shift pattern and only use it when spraying.

Like Pat said, I would start the 1-2 at 19mph, 2-3 at 59mph and work your way back up. The 1-2 will be close but the 2-3 may need to be bumped higher.

which pattern is sport? Because they are labeled letters I never have a clue. I actually just set a track tune and make them all the same lol. Then for the street I load a separate tune.

yeah,just got the 102 fast intake,nick williams 102 tb, fast fuel rails, slp pulley,full bc suspension,bmr total chassis upgrade, slp thermostat, 3.45 differential,whiteline sub and diff bushings, and CTS-V brake upgrade done this weekend. waiting on direct port solution and then goes the 400 shot....:devil:

Y is sport and
Z is manual
