Hey all, I've come across this board a few times recently and I thought I'd finally make an account and introduce myself.
I'm in Victoria, BC, Canada. I bought my '09 G8 GT back in November -- Black 1SC (snow being what it is).
Everything's still stock right now... I'm looking at some of the cheaper mods to get me started, maybe some HIDs, or a CAI.
These forums have been a great read so far, I look forward to participating!

Welcome to the site. Have you been driving yout G8 much this winter?
I should mention that I met Blackrider in a parking lot the other day, and it was him who pushed me to sign up here.
Yeah, I've been driving it all winter - it's our only car. There were a few days in mid December where I was literally plowing the road. Only got stuck once though.

Victoria is a bit odd, we've had about 3 weeks of solid snow on the ground so far this year, which is about 2.5 weeks more than normal. We have nice mild winters unlike the rest of Canada. :)
