It actually looks much better in person - you can see that the grid in the hood scoops is still in place.
Obviously for shows only :) Honest, Officer.

I was thinking about doing that with blue lights but not knight rider style. Just 2 big lights in each scoop.

That's pretty cool

Do not ride with these on. I learned the hard way after $398 fine, for Impersonating a Police officer charge that you can not have any form of flashing red or blue lights on the front or back of a car. National policy! They pulled me over in a Bright Orange Car with these saying I was trying to get people to pull over for me. I asked who the hell would pull over for a Orange car, but the judge didn't buy it, and payed the price.

I know someone that did that to their trans am, it was pretty cool. He had it set so it turned on when he put the car in park or was shut off and was able to turn feature on or off with a toggle switch.

Well done sir, I put in a set of Orange LED tubes from Streetglow back in September, just haven't had time to post a video. Did you use the pattern controller also? I leave mine on solid whenever I'm going down the road, people get a kick out of it.

I would advise to stay away from red, blue, white, and possibly yellow...unless you are only going to use them while parked, Johnny Law won't be too happy with you. I run my orange ones solid whenever I'm driving my car and haven't got stopped yet...knock on wood.

They can't say anything about forward facing lights if they are white or amber (orange). I know this because I had underglows on a mustang and checked with my fiances dad (retired State Trooper) and he said anything white or amber is considered 'auxiliary' lighting to supplement your factory lighting (as long as they arent mounted to high on the vehicle) but white lights SHOULD be okay.
When I got my underglows (blue) I rode to the city police department and ask an officer if I was legal. He said I was cool as long as I was not moving and off the road!

Probably not. Amber or white are usually OK. Read the post directly above.

That's what I want to do. I want it to look similar to the new knight rider. I guess I'll see what I can come up with. TBC......................
