Does anyone know where I can obtain just the flanges that would attach to the stock midpipe? I've unfortunately come to the conclusion that No one is goin to make an axle back that doesn't have a drone so I'm contemplating making my own utilizing Borla mufflers and tips. I've done this once but used the flanges from the factory mufflers, and don't plan on looking for another set of stockers to make another. Any ideas?

Do you know anyone who works in a machine shop?

I work in a machine shop and make W-Body parts in my garage. If I had some measurements I can make them for you.

I'll buy a pair also.

The stock flanges have a 105mm hole pattern. You can find universal flanges.
I measured 4.15" on the hole locations.

I found some flanges with 2 bolt holes but I don't think they will work. I think it should be a flared pipe flange not a ball & socket style.

Dynomax most likely makes those in flat as well. I believe dynomax is made by Walker.

I found some here, I think the pipe is 2.5" but they have 3" also. The bolt spacing is 4.187 so it should fit.

Are these the correct ones?
2 1/2" Universal Exhaust Flange
Universal 2 bolt pattern, 5/16" thick steel.
Center hole is 2.5"
Bolt pattern is from 3 1/2" to 4 5/16".

Its a little thin for a good flange

The stockers should be 8mm.

As long as the pipe is 2 1/2" I would say it is. 8mm is close to 5/16" so it's the same thickness.

But all of the other good exhasut companies use a 3/8 minimum. I suppose I could always stack two of them together on the same pipe to make a 5/8. As much as I've had to change exhausts, I'd prefer the heavier duty way...better to err on the side of caution

8 mm is cheaper to manufacture and I'm sure that's why they are that size from the factory.

Yeah I bet it's .50 cents cheaper to manufacture it and it's 20% weaker.
