Control the level of Management you like, from the stock amount, you can increase the amount of TM Off by 25% intervals, ranging 25%-150% (to Max). Or at least, that's how mine is for now.
(25% = 25% above stock, or 25% of the difference between stock and superchips)

Here are some pictures, sorry about the glare/flash.

LOL

It should be out the first of Feb if not sooner, I've asked them for an ASAP release.

You can always send it back, then re-order once the options become available :)

Not yet available, but soon to be released Torque Management Settings. :woohoo:

Wait, can you explain this again? In stupid terms? Does that mean that if I set it to 25% I get 25% TM up from the SuperChips value of NO TM? Or does that mean that I get 25% LESS TM?

You've confused me, and I think I've succeeded in confusing myself...

Oh, and with Traction control/Stability control on a damp (and I mean, DAMP, not WET) on ramp I busted the tires very loose at ~40MPH today... was quite fun, and also quite enlightening (never did that before. :woohoo:)

LOL - I'm a little confused myself

25% = 25% above stock, or 25% of the difference between stock and superchips. Superchips tune, as is loaded on your tuners, would be equal to the "100% Superchips" value.

This means for a half way setting between the stock and Superchips, it would be 50%, or roughly 50% of the torque management. Now I thought the Superchips value (100%) would mean the TM would be off, but I'm seeing a 125%, 150% and max% with latest tune. So I may just have some very aggressive settings for now.

I have a question into Superchips asking if above 100% would be even more aggressive (less TM?). That's where I'm confused also, because I thought it was off at 100%.

BTW, I have mine set at 75% for now and it's grrrr8! Still chirping going into second and the shifts are more smooth, but still quick as hell.

That's great news. The car shifts pretty hard in normal day-to-day driving as it is right now; it made getting out to the movies quite interesting Sunday night during the storm. (Girlfriend was freaking out, as she always does when there's snow on the ground).

Oh yeah, my car is now shifting like a BMW until you go WOT, then it's back into the seat and hold on American Power!

I've been telling them that they need to release this ASAP. Specially with winter conditions. I add that to every email, so I hope they release soon.

Yeah, it actually did make me break the drive wheels loose a little on the 1-2 shifts. When I started using manual mode, the 2-3 shift was more predictable (as I was shifting it) but it was still harsh enough to make me break em loose a little. (and this was with, of course, very light throttle application)

Superchips used to turn Torque Management off completely on the UpShifts only with the Superchips tune that is currently out.

Now Superchips has found a new table that is RPM based and we can fine tuned how much torque can be provided during the shifts based on rpms. The problem is the table controls Upshifts and Downshifts. So the answer to his question is yes Superchips = 100% removes torque management at higher RPMS (1/2 -WOT TP), but at lower rpms the torque management is less but still there for a better feel. So you can actually go above Superchips which would get close to removing all torque management at lower rpms with 150% Superchips. Max complete removes all torque management throughout the entire rpm range.

So the burning question is when can we plug in and download the update :hmm:

Not yet my friend.

I will be sure to let everyone know when it's time :)

To all that have waited for Torque Management option and the AFM/DOD delete option,
you only have another 3 days to wait :bm:

Unofficial release date will be Monday, Jan. 26th (not sure, try after 9AM) :woohoo:

I didn't have to choose the new options, they automatically downloaded to my tuner. I think it will be the same way with everyone.

.......Wish we could just adjust a little more and they would sell the
hell out of these things.

They would be almost perfect for 95% of owners.

...but it is weird with their big "warranty thing" that they would let you remove all of the TM ??????

Anyone have any further news on the 93 tune?

I just plugged in my Cortex tonight to my other PC... It downloaded about 5-6 updates.

Anyone know what was updated on the 2950 AFTER the big torque management updates? Just wondering if it was anything that applied to the G8?

All of the 09 GM Trucks and SUV's :)

Nothing for the G8 yet.
