Been getting a sporadic P2135 code, 1st time @ month ago, then another after @ 2weeks last night happened 3x in 15 miles. It goes in to limp mode every time. I believe it's a throttle position sensor code. Is there a way to check the tps without replacing the throttle body?

The easiest way to diag that is to use a tech 2 in the TAC data screen, and see if tps 1+2 read agree or not, their correlation will read disagree when this fails and is usually very intermittent to get to happen when diag. unless the throttle body is really bad at the sensors internally,You are most likely going to need a throttle body.unplugging and plugging back in the connector may help if you're real lucky,The good news is that is part of the 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty, regardless of mods, but that may create a pissing match with a service manager with a blower,Just don't show them your avatar ! Keep us informed and good luck

Removed throttle body and cleaned, don't think it helped but hasn't went into limp mode yet. I have noticed since 1st occurance that it surges on decel and it is still doing that. Next time it throws a code might have to try the dealership.
