Clicking a name takes you to some weird screen rather than the usial view profile, send PM, etc options. In order to send a PM you need to know exact spelling of username, that's a PITA. Or am I missing something?

If I click your name it is all set to go.

From inside a thread yes but try it from the members list or from active list at bottom of home page.

When you are in that screen just click send message.

but then I have to count the Rs in your name. its no biggie, I'll get used to it.

Click the persons name at the bottom, then right below their name it says members and has a box, top left corner "send message" and it is already filled out.
