It would be great to meet up at a local cruise in........

Saturday 5/19/2012 - Johnny Ray's in Lees Summit. SHowtime is 5-9pm.

Please reply back and see if you can make it for a couple of hrs saturday evening. It is usually a good turn-up weather permitting. Lots of fast street and drag cars. Also Johnny Ray's sells old fashioned hamburgurs and shakes and they are good and cheap.

We all may have to get there by 3:30pm - 4:00 pm so we can all park together.

I'm in the Fort Riley area looming for a meet. I'll travel to Lees Summit if there is one scheduled.

The meets are every 3rd Saturday of the month. So hopefully in June we can make it up there. I know a couple G8 owners in Lees Summit and surrounding areas i will make sure to call about this. I worked this past weekend or I would have been there. But June I will for sure be there.

I thought I will bring this back up.......

There is a small layed back cruise being organized by an local f-body club. Bunch of nice people and families. So you can bring your better half , kids etc. and it will be fun.

Details: Saturday 9/15/2012
We will be traveling through Northwest Missouri and it will be a long cruise, so get the rides ready, whatever ride that might be. We will start out from Cabelas by the Kansas Speedway around 9am. From there we will wander up to Weston and spend a little time there before heading to St Joseph for lunch and a visit to the Pony Express Museum ( http://ponyexpress.org/ ). Then we will head east to Hamilton before turning south to head to Lexington and make a stop at the Civil war site (if time allows). From there we will make our way towards Bates City for some Bates City BBQ. After dinner, those who came in from out of town can easily jump right back on the highway and head back home.

Hey guys and gals, quick introduction. I am a KC area GTO owner (05 as well as an older one) and I hope to one day own a G8, great cars. I am wondering if anyone here local has some stock G8 wheels they'd like to unload. I don't mind if they are the 18 or 19 inch variety though I would prefer one of these two styles.

Mostly.

I have an 05 GTO and I'd like some G8 wheels (that with slight modifications) could be a nice addition. Unfortunately, I am not willing to go quite as aggressive as 20's. That's maybe just a little scary.

Unfortunately no. But I do know of several sets for sale in and around kc. I'm keeping mine for winter wheels. I daily drive the goat.
