So if Tire Rack says the wheel will fit on my car, should that be good enough for me? I'm dense when it comes to wheels and fitment. I'm wanting Enkei RP03s.19x8.5 35mm offset. I think they look good on the G8. Plus they only weigh about 21lbs

OR should I go for the Breyton GTS 19x8.5 30mm offset.

I guess the big question is...can I trust Tire Rack to not sell me tires that won't fit my car?

I've bought both wheels and tires from Tire Rack in the past for other cars, and every time they've been spot on.

they know their shit, and if they fuck it up, they've got top notch customer service to fix it.

I think those wheels look awesome with that color.
My G8 was at Tirerack within a week of purchase getting measured. When you view wheels on a G8 on Tirerack's web site, it's my G8 that you see.

The stock 8" wheel has a 48mm offset. A wheel with a 35mm offset would be 13mm's closer to the fender. That's a little over a 1/2". Check your G8 and see how much room you have between the edge of your tire and the inner fender.

From what I've seen with what people have put on their cars and what Tire Rack (and Discount Tire Direct, for that matter) recommend, is that the internet sellers are conservative in what will fit on your car.
