Maryland Speed is AWESOME!!

Well the title pretty much say's all I really need to say. About 2-3 weeks ago I was looking on Maryland Speed for a set of Kooks LT's and I added them into my cart but ended up not pulling the trigger on getting them. So the next day I get home from work and to my surprise I have an email from Maryland Speed saying they noticed that I had put them in my cart but did not order and they wanted to see if there was a problem. So I sent back this email

I am still looking at purchasing a set of Kooks LT's, just can't seem to pull the trigger yet. You do have the best prices around, but one thing that I would like to know is how long you are going to have the "freecoatkooks" coupon, because when I do decide I really don't want to miss out on that deal. I am a member on "g8board" and "grrrr8.net" and saw the Holiday Header Sale post and was just wondering. Oh and also would there be any deal on getting the x-pipe coated as well? I didn't think there was but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. If there is anything that you could do to convince me to pull the trigger then I sure am listening. Thanks: Andrew)

The next day I got an email from Branden F. (President) www.marylandspeed.com asking for my number and when a convenient time would be for him to call to try and help me to pull the trigger. So that next day he calls me in the time frame that I asked and helped me decide on the 1 7/8" Kooks instead of the 1 3/4" because you really never know how far you are going to take the car and I would not be disappointed in the 7/8". So he shot me an "amazing" price and I couldn't refuse. Needless to say I got the x-pipe and piping 5 days later and just got the headers back from Jet-Hot on Wednesday and just got done putting them on Today!! Thanks Maryland!!!

Interesting...I emailed them about a exhaust part for my G8 to see if it's in stock and still no responce a day later. Sorry I don't like that fact that they don't have a phone number you can call and talk to someone live! Was hoping for something better then this??? O'well guess order from another vender who had a phone number and free shipping too.

Thanks guys. The reason the number is not on the site is actually multifold. First off, when we put it on the site, the lines get jammed up with locals calling asking about installs, or people in general asking for things we don't sell. Another issue is that people start calling for things like tracking and order status that are readily accessable via our website or best handled vs. email.

To throttle the calls so we can give everyone the time we need tech support wise, we keep the number off the site, but put it on every forum we sponsor. So generally when someone calls, they are a potential customer and someone we can help.

Well with thanks from forum guys here, I called yesterday, got a recording....still no call back or answer. Sorry I'm done with Maryland Speed, I shouldn't have to email and leave voice messages and wait 2 days to still get no answer...Crazy All I wanted to know is if they had the Borla Cat in stock cause I know there on back order. Guess they don't want my $1000 dollars

Did you leave a voice mail. I do go through and respond to my email every night..and if you asked if I had Borla I would have told you. Unfotunatly our phones do get jammed up..but that is because I spend a lot of time talking to people making sure their orders are right..and giving them advice.

Either way..Borla is on backorder everywhere. They made 10 the first run (which are long sold), and have not made any since. Next run is supposed to be done 04/14.

Thanks, I did talk to a young lady yesterday on phone and she told me that you didn't have any in stock and were waiting for some more from Borla. I guess I have to wait a little longer. Do you know how many your are expecting from Borla? Should I get on waiting list now?

I am hoping to have some in next week..I don't know how many we are getting or will be left over. I will post up when I know more.
