This is my first post ever on here, so please go easy on me.:cool2: Here is my problem. The red airbag light keeps flashing on the dash. We've carried it to the dealership, and they couldn't find any trouble codes or anything wrong. They claimed it is more than likely the gauge cluster. Before I spend any money on trying to replace parts, I figured it would be best to see if anyone else has had a problem similar to this. I tried searching, but no one has specified their light flashing. Others are just saying their lights were just staying on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine too. Beeped a few times, light stayed on for 10 mins or so then went off. Stayed for for a week then did it again. I haven't had the recall done yet. Related?

If the dealer performed the air bag recall then the system did not take the flash and the software needs to be reloaded because chances are the module is wiped I.e. no software on it. They need to reflash it.

Oh and for reference I had the recall done and it was fine then the light came on. Dealer reflashed and no issues.

Thanks a lot guys. I had the air bag recall done a little while before the light came on. It wasn't on after I left the dealership right away. It took at about two weeks or so for it to come on. Do you still think it could be from them? Prior to all this the car never had an airbag light on for any reason. I took it to two different dealerships, yet both said the same thing, " it isn't showing any codes at all, it must be your gauge cluster malfunctioning" I am guessing I should go up there and ask them to redo the recall software flash. anymore suggestions?

Well after showing the techs at the dealership this thread, and other I had seen, they decided to redo the software download. This fixed the problem. Thanks everyone.
