hey guys,

I like the factory axle back, and since not much will be gained with a $500+ system.....

...I was thinking of these tips or similar on e-bay.
item# 360114717649
They are 3 inch rolled, polished, stainless angle cut, weld ons.

Has anybody put better tips on their factory tips?

thanks

Can't you provide a link to the auction? You know, copy and paste?

The stock tips are 13 1/4" long. They are 2 1/4" id. Those tips are not much different than the stock ones.

subscribing . . .I also would like to have a muffler shop remove the stock tips and replace them with some good looking dual aftermarket tips that are around 3" in diameter for each tip. The stock mufflers are just soo far back and fairly large!

None of the Borla tips will fit as far as I can tell.

Those look great! I totally hate the stock split pipes.

If the tips you like are too short just have an extension welded on the back of the mufflers to bring them out as far as you like.

That's not the problem. The aftermarket tips are generally too long to fit in the space between the stock mufflers and the back of the car.

The stock tips are 13 1/4" long, these are 12" long so they are too short.

That's the first dual tip I've seen that you could make work. Thanks for the tip on the tip!

Only question I have is the quality of the stainless steel. Would hate to have these installed and then have them start rusting. I'm not familar with the mfg listed in the ebay listing. I might have to do some investigating to make sure we're talking high-quality SS.

I didn't notice that, I wouldn't buy from them.
