I was going to install re-q5 processor by tapping into the head units harness by popping off the passemger side panel off.

After looking at the wire harness it seems that I can get all the speaker level inputs from there, but I don't see anything for the sub wires.

Does that mean I need to tap the wires by the head unit and tap before the amp at the trunk to get everything I need? (Replacing door speakers and using 4 channel amp and adding a sub with mono amp.)

If I tap at the head unit and run those to the trunk to mount the re-q5 back there, whats the best way to do that? Just use any skinny cheapest I can find speaker wire or something? And if the bass eq problem is the only thing to worry about should I just worry about using the re-q5 for the subs and run the speaker level inputs straight into my 4 channel amp?

I also want to make sure I can run the leads down the same side as my speaker wire and not get any noise from it?
