Annual Lake Hughes cruise April 28

Giving people plenty of time to plan for this cruise because many wanted at least a 3 week notice. Seaside Goats (G8 & GTO club) do this cruise every April as the first one of the season. We start in Ventura, leaving at 9am and stop in Castaic off the I-5 for 15 minutes to pick up the people from other counties. Leave the micky D's at 10:15am up toward Lake Huges. This is a twisty route the rewards good handling cars. We then go over to the 138 and back to I-5 for a few miles to the Frasier Park exit and then to Pine Mountain Club for lunch and they to Ojai via the twisty road to the 166 and then to the 33 and stop for those that want, as the Deer Lodge or what can be agreed upon. This takes 4 hours with lunch stop. Hope to have a map up soon, but this should help people make their own if they wish. Please PM me if you wish to go with a cell no. so we can accomodate and know if people are running late. This is the last Saturday of April and should be past the rain season. Hope to see plenty of G8's and GTO's.

8:30-9:00 Meet up at Ventura Harbor Village 1591 Spinnaker Dr Ventura 93001 by the lawn (where we host our annual Chiefs at the Channel car show). Please arrive fueled & ready to go (Chevron station at 101 Seaward exit) and bring your 2-way radios.
We'll leave at 9:00

10:15 - Cruise up Lake Hughes Rd then over to Pine Mountain Club. We'll stop there for gas & pizza before heading down the hill to Ojai. We'll try to keep this stop to 45 minutes or less if people want to wait to eat in Ojai.

The cruise will end between 2:00-2:30 at the Deer Lodge in Ojai for refreshments. Then home by way of hwy 33 to 101 or hwy 150 to 126 to 5.
