Would this kit actually work with our car's (G8 GT) ? Or is it just junk ? Looked inexpensive , not sure actually how much work it would require for a shop like vector or Livernois which is local to me

your better off just buying a turbo (or 2) and starting with nothing. Trust me it will be a lot easier to just buy a kit.

Too small a turbo, no manifold, no hot side to the piping (read lots of custom exhaust for a single turbo)

This is worthless for our car. this might work for a civic, but the turbo is too small for our engine.
