Hey guys
I have 300m axles getting made right now. They will be ready to ship in 3-4 weeks.
These will be a direct swap for the OEM axles.
I dont see any reason to replace the inner or outer stubs since they are by no means small or weak, the weakest link is the axle shaft itself.
The G8 axle is pretty much the same diameter as the GTO axle but the cv joints and inner stubs are better.
I will also come out with a 300m bolt together inner stub and axle package a little later for you big power guys.
Installing the axle kit is a pretty easy job once you get the half shafts out.
The outer end:
Remove the cv clamp, slide the boot back out of the way.
There is a large retaining ring that keeps the cv joint together. Take the retaining ring out and it all just comes right out.
After you pull the cv apart, there is another retaining ring on the back side on the axle, remove it and the axle will slide right out.
The inner end:
Remove the cv clamp, slide the boot back and pull real hard on the axle and it will come right out. It is held in place by a wire retaining ring that just slides out with the axle.
Pop the retaining clip off the old axle and onto the new axle and put it back together just like it came apart except with the new boots, clamps and grease.
I will make up some good instructions and youtube video of how to do it. Not hard at all.
The kit will consist of:
Pair of 300m 37 spline axles
All new boots, clamps and cv grease
Price is $595. plus a little shipping

The kit will be real similar to the GTO 300m axle kit that I currently offer.
