Hey All,
Just scooped up an 09 SRM G8GT with sport and premium packages about two weeks ago. Looks like the prior owner had a few mods done - debadged trunk, light tint, and magnaflows. I couldn't tell if it was an axleback or just mufflers, but it looks like the stock GT tips on it. I'll have to crawl back under the car once I have more light to verify. I traded in my 04 IBM GTO, which was your basic headers/bolt-on car. The only downside is that I'll have to find a decent dealer in the area to address the lovely pulse/flaring issue from 2-3. All-in-all, I love this car. It's just right for me.
As far as mod plans, I plan on keeping it fairly basic for the next few months: CAI, GXP rear diffuser from Pace, and maybe some lighting upgrades.
I've also just joined another G8 board and still a member of buckeyegoats, LS1gto. Anyway, looks like a good board and I hope to learn and contribute more. Cheers!

Congrats and welcome to the forum. Lots of useful info here and helpful folks too. Where did you get your car from? I'm a westsider and have had pretty good luck with service from Morris Buick Cadillac in North Olmsted. They reflashed my TCM a couple of years ago, along with other recall work and oil changes. Anyway, have fun with the new ride!

Holy crap Steve, it's been far too long! You know me, it's just been along time. I used to be part of the GP crowd (I had a black GTP out at Thompson a few times). I moved into a Regal, then a GTO. I bought Dave's rims off of him when he got into the TBSS. In fact, I've been wondering how you guys have been. If you remember Joe, he just got married last year. I was his best man (poor guy).

I got it from Toyota of Bedford. The sales guy actually has a G8 of his own, so it was pretty nice to work with someone who knew the product well. I'm going to check out that dealership and see what they can do. Thanks for the recommendation.

Wow, it has been a long time. Joe give up detailing for women? He should have gotten our married guys advice beforehand, lol. We are still playing with cars. Dave still has his TBSS, Terminator powered fox body, C6Z, and just added a Camaro SS.

Welcome! Now prepare for a bad case of modification flu. The only cure is a cashectomy of your bank account towards numerous modifications.
