Received a scam letter in my regular email this morning from a "more lonely@GRRRR..."
with a sob story about being an orphan and his uncle poisoning his father, etc....
Of course asking for help, money, etc.
Anyone else get this BS, or am I the lucky one?

No. I know this has nothing to do with the forums or anybody on it for that matter.

I've got everyone's scam story beat. Actually I have 3 scam stories. All true and they've all happened to me in the last two months. While I haven't sent any $$$ I have lost time dealing with these idiots. Damn dating sites!!!!

I'll tell them if anyone wants to hear them.

My Dear,

My name is Mercy Cook, Nineteen years old. Unfortunately, I 'm now an orphan as my mother died when I was Six year old. My father died of food poison. Since his death, things have completely changed and my life became miserable. One of my uncles accepted me in his house. At first, I was ok even though his wife was too hostile. She treats me as slave in my uncle's house.

Presently she has influenced her husband and life is now like hell to me. They have changed my father's personal assets to their name. Recently I discovered a letter in my uncle's closet and in that letter, I found out that my uncle and two other people planned and poisoned my father. My uncle conspired with my father's business rivals and poisoned my father. They killed my father in order to take over his businesses and inherit his wealth.

In that letter they were asking my uncle to give them their own part of the deal. While reading that letter, I had a shock so I fainted and my uncle came in and caught me with the letter. I'm afraid that they might decide to kill me or poison me as they did to my father in order to keep me silent for the evil they did to my father.

For safety, I decided to run away from the house. I'm now in a hidden place very far from the town. My purpose of contacting you is because I need to come to your country secretly so that my uncle will not know my where about. I have here some documents which my father gave to me secretly before he died in the hospital about the secret deposited of (Six Million Five Hundred Thousand United State dollars) he kept with financial company in my name and I have verified this with the Financial Company before contacting you.

I shall require you help me to transfer this money to your country. Immediately after the transfer, I will come to live in your country. I will give you all information you need after I hear from you. I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards. Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded.

I am willing to offer you Ten Percent of the total fund once the fund is transferred to your account oversea.

Now permit me to ask these few questions:

1.Can you honestly help me from your heart?
2. Can I completely trust you?

Please, consider this and get back to me as soon as possible. Immediately I confirm your willingness, I will details more on how to proceed further.

Kindly reply to this my private email address (mercycookky@yahoo.com) for more details.

Yours in need,

Mercy Cook. (mercycookky / at / y a h o o. c o m)

I got one today from More Lonely. I thought it was a girl. BTW it sounded identical to Ms. Cooks' letter. I wonder if they are related?

I didn't get it. If you ever post your email in public on forums it may get mined and used for spam.

I'd love to help but I won the UK Lottery twice last week & Bill Gates is sending me 40 billion for having a lucky email address. I'm already running out of room to store all the cash I won.

I have a woman that I met on a dating that emails me almost everyday. All I have to do is send $750 to her in Ghana and we'll be able to be together. The kicker is she has 12 bars of gold stored in her hotel room. It's too bad because the photos she sent me show a very attractive woman.

I met scammer #2 on a dating site. She never got a chance to ask for money. I searched her photo on google and she was on several dating sites with different names and lived in different cities. She was also attractive and I traced her back to Ghana.

Scammer #3 was also found on a dating site. Once she sent me a good photo I googled that one. I made out here also. The searched revealed that the photo was of a Ukrainian pop star who was voted one of the ten most beautiful women in the Eastern Europe.

Aren't I a lucky man??? I have 3 attractive women chasing me. One has gold, one owns houses in a bunch of US cities, & the 3rd is rich and famous.....LMAO
