I'll check this every day and keep track of the progress of the GXPs comming into the system. It probably isn't as accurate as something the dealership has but I think it's close.

I hate that dealer! When I was in GA they dicked around on a GTO I wanted for 3 days and then did teh same thing on another car. Thats how I ended up with the 05 SS Impala.

Anyone trying to get over sticker for these in this economy is a fucking retard.

I sent an email to them inquiring about the Silver GXP they have and he said it was "on special at $43.590". I asked him why it was $2000 over MSRP and he said that is was because of limited availability. I'll NOT be buying that car.

I have two dealers in my area willing to sell me mine at GMS. Now all they have to do is get one. One has none on the way, the other has a white hot in bound and he has told me he has one srm tagged for me and on its way to arrive around the end of the month/first of next, but, it's not showing up on the locator yet. I am taking some comfort that Ninos aren't showing yet either.

How is it 415HP and only 398LB-FT of torque? Could have sworn those figures were equal according to GM.

I gave my number to a guy named Dan Morrone at the dealership. Dropped by one night last week.

And dude, by no means would I torture that which is not mine. I wouldn't push her hard for fear of damaging the block before it was actually broken in. I'm careful enough with my own belongings, much more someone else's. I actually hadn't intended to test drive, though I certainly wouldn't turn down an offer! I've driven a stick before, though, so such an experience wouldn't be new.

By the way, according to Pontiac.com, Thompson up on Wake Forest Road has or is getting a silver one. Why haven't you given them a ring? Any particular reason you're tied down to Hendrick?

Yeah, so far that's the only real issue I see with the GXPs so far. The first shipment had absolutely no blue cars in it (neither Pacific Slate nor Stryker Blue). How does that make sense?


I don't like silver either; I mean, it does look nice on the G8, I just would never want a silver car. More partial to White or Pacific Slate/Bleen. Yes, I said Bleen, I loved that color on the GP. :nah:



Consolation may be that they DO have a couple SRMs from what I've seen, but damnit, nothing has made it into my state yet! What the heck is it with GM? This happened with the G8 Base and G8 GT when they hit the states. I had to wait a good month or three until I could start looking at G8s at my local dealers. Don't they want to sell any in this great state of Connecticut?!

Clear out your browser cache, this is likely what's causing your issue in Firefox, but not in Chrome.

Go to: Tools>Options>Privacy and in the Privacy area of the window (near the bottom) click "Clear Now". Make sure that you only have "Web Cache" checked. Otherwise your saved names/passwords and other entered information in webpages will be wiped out as well.

Just clearing the Browser cache should be enough.
