Child Latch system missing?

Hello folks,

I'm not sure which category this thread would fall under so I picked the closest one...

Anyway, it appears my car is missing 4 of the 6 child latches in the back row seat. The two that are there are for the middle seat, the side seats don't appear to have a latch. I checked the manual and it states there should be 6 latches total... did the factory screw up or am I missing something here??

I bet if you pop the bottom part of the seat out you will see that they are in there... Just a PITA to get to.

Hmm, I'll take another look... I was borderline taking apart the back seat looking for the damn things lol...

There is a little flap with Velcro hiding them. And they are a pita to get to.

Not the greatest picture, but here's my car when I had the seats out to give you an idea of where to look.

You can see the black bars clearly. Just the bottom part of the seat is easy enough to remove. Just pull up on the two front corners and it pops out.

They are hard to find. You have to really dig for them.

i thought the same thing with mine, you have to put your finger in the velcro opening part of your seat for the 2 on each side of the back, the middle ones are inbetween the seat and the back of the seat

Yeah I'm a dummy... definitely there but some velcro was covering it. Thanks guys :)

there is actually 9...... 6 on the seat and 3 on the rear deck so you can mount 3 car seats with 3 points of connection :) enjoy. i have only had 3 seats in my car twice. glad i only got 2 kids

Note that the LATCH locations are indicated by the symbol on the seat. The main seating positions have them hidden behind the Velcro flaps built into the seat.
