Hey everybody we were wondering if anyone would be interested if we came out with a Cold Air Intake System for the Pontiac G8 GT? Totally custom made for the GT version and powder coated to your preference in color. Intake System would look like our V6 version (Pictures Below) but changed to fit the Pontiac G8 GT version. Were trying to get a poll to see if anyone would be interested. Please let us know! Thanks,

Do you have any dyno numbers - do you need a bone stock 09 ginny pig g8 gt? what is your initial price point and because of the bend right in front of the mass air flow are you considering a velocity stack to center the airflow to the center of the mass air flow?-

You can go back and edit your post to include a poll. There are a few members waiting for an intake to be released. With the proper intake, you may be able to sell to some of those waiting.

I think those of us waiting for the Vararam may not want to get involved in this particular poll. Obviously it will skew the results.

IEATSRT8's ?

the timing is determined by the amount of air that actually crosses the metering inside of the maf sensor. if the bend is too close to the maf the air vortecs around the sensor diluting the true amount of airflow that the cpu needs to make proper timing adjustments , hence robbing horsepower. Make more sense now?

I will be interested. Only problem, it seems too loose. A good idea will be to have the same setup you have on your pics for the v6 but also addd a heat shield so that the intake is not just floating around but securly fastened. I guess a combination between OPG and Roto-Fab heat shield.
