Mine came in at 3779 pounds at Behe Performance without me in it and with half a tank of gas. I thought that was light, but they said from their experience that was right.

nothing to save weight yet but it helps that I only weight 160 lbs. I should be under 4000 this time since I have 17s instead on 19s

SO i guess 1-2 seats and the drag pack saved some weight? what else?
mine was 4020 without me in it and 1/4 tank.

All the trim, panels, and seats were in the car. The only thing missing were the mufflers because I run straight
pipes at the track. Heck if I could drive the car it might have went 11.20s since I weigh 70 lbs less than John.
I have a skin graft on my head. I can't wear a helmet yet.

I agree..... its not possible unless someone has done some huge mods to their car and its totally stripped...... If he really has it under 3800lbs then he really needs to share with us how he did it.... we would all love to know!!!! :)

All my mods are posted...nothing special there. I really need to find another place to weigh it. I was really surprised at the numbers when I corner balanced it - thought it would come in around 4000 pounds. Behe does a lot of SCCA, MARRS and PCA club racing work, so my first thought was the scales should be accurate, they need to be to do the scrutineering work and track day prep. I'll be back there again next week in my never ending suspension set-up work, I'll see if we can check the weight again. When it warms up I'd like to take it to Cecil County Dragway -do they have a scale?

Yes, that's what I meant by race weight. That's with me and 1/8 tank of gas. Since I go about 280, that means the car weighs about 3915. She ain't light (especially with me driving), but I still managed 110 mph trap speeds in good air in spring and fall BONE STOCK.

~3900 lbs that is pretty light for the G8. I weighed mine at 3980 with the below mods. My girl needs a diet!!

Took my GXP with no moonroof to Ballard Public Scale Inc on Branch Street in St. Louis a couple weeks ago.
I stepped out of the car and it had zero luggage.
3900 with 1/4 tank
filled it up and came back
4000 with full tank
Weight reduction: Remove tire patch kit in the back, remove engine cover. :) 5-6 pounds total.
Weight added: GForce axles. 30 pounds estimated heavier than stock
