Bradenton 1/15/09!

Whomever wants to meet at Bradenton Motorsports Park this Thursday night I will be out there along with Zosoboggie! in his supercharged G8. I'll be going for 12's and he will probably be going for 11's. The temps are supposed to be in the 40's with a 9 mph tailwind! Sounds like a new PB coming right around the corner.

I spotted a G8 headed to bradenton as i was leaving last sunday. Just missed each other i guess, but not sure who it was. Rich from Precision Motorsports of Florida brought his brandnew G8 to baseline it. Ran a 13.8 with all kinds of wheel hop. There was a ZR1 running as well on sunday.

Bradenton Motorsports flaked out. What I heard from a couple of guys that were at the entrance was that they didn't open due to weather. Weather! It was the best night I've ever seen there....clear skys, in the high 40's, 10 mph tailwind. It doesn't get any better than that in Florida! Oh well, the bums.

Yeah, I drove all the way down there to find out too. Their website didn't mention anything.

Their voicemail did say it was because of the weather. Next time I'll know to call before I leave.

Ah that sucks. I was planning on heading down tonight, but my tranny cooler didnt show up til almost 5.

Street Nats are next week too, so looks like two more weeks til open T&T

yeah I had like 10 people with us and a three cars that were going to race me. A crazy supercharged M3 and a vette, damn that sucks ass!!

I got there about 7:45 PM. Lights off, about 6 guys with cars waiting and talking back near the back entrance. I have corresponded via e-mail with the track secretary who said at first that it was the cold. Then after I questioned this she said no it was the wind they were worried about. I felt like saying, what are you guys, drag racers or pussies? There was about a 10 mph tailwind. I did mention that I thought it would be appropriate if they extended a free pass to anyone who requested it as a good will gesture, which I kinda think they need to do at this point.

there was a guy who can from north tampa in a Pratt and miller corvette it was sweet sound like it had a jet engine in it!! I came in my supercharged g8 and a buddy who was going to race me in his supercharged Dinan M3!! Maybe next week!!
